Have you ever fallen down a rabbit hole in your mind?
In this week’s episode of the podcast, I’m talking about something that happens for me pretty much every day — catastrophic thinking. Not sure what that is? It’s when things are going along relatively well and then, BOOM, all of the sudden you’re sure that sneeze is cancer and that the mail waiting for you will contain notice of your imminent financial collapse and how that offhanded comment from a friend last week means she hates you now and your friendship is ruined.
I had a real-time intense experience of catastrophizing this week, and as I worked myself through a process to shift gears, I knew I wanted to share it with you, too, in case it was useful.
So listen in and let’s get into it!
