Okay, here’s something I’ve been thinking about lately: There’s a lot of talk out there about embracing our imperfections. And listen, I’m totally down with that because it’s good not to compare ourselves to perfection!
But I actually think that both perfection and imperfection might be not-useful concepts when it comes to our bodies because embracing our imperfections implies that perfection still exists — and I don’t think it does. My hunch is that bodies exist in a much more individual, changing space than that. So this week, I’m digging into that — all in the context of our exploration this week, which is santosha, or contentment.
