In today’s episode of Love, Curvy Yoga, I interview a member of the Curvy Yoga community, Krissie Bentley!
Inside this episode, you’ll hear us talk more about:
- The attitude of experimentation that kicked off Krissie’s yoga practice
- What self-portraiture taught Krissie about her yoga practice, her body and herself
- The surprising places Krissie’s yoga practice has taken her
- What happens when you give yourself permission
- And so much more!
Meet Our Guest, Krissie Bentley
Krissie Bentley (RYT 200, Curvy Yoga, Yoga for All) is a non-practicing therapist turned yoga teacher and life coach. Krissie completed her training through Curvy Yoga in Nashville, TN, directly under Curvy Yoga founder, Anna Guest-Jelley. She has also received “Yoga for All” certification through Dianne Bondy and Amber Karnes.
Krissie believes it is possible to create a world where we are at peace with our bodies. With kindness, we can care for our bodies through movement because we love them, not because we want to change them. Krissie will help you find YOUR unique style of yoga that works best for YOUR body. She is also available for coaching, private sessions, and online classes.

Yes, YOUR unique style. This is such an empowering affirmation as it’s so easy to try to mirror another teacher and dismiss our unique knowledge and skills.
